Innovations for Big Data in the Real World – iBIGWorld
As part of the project, a set of training materials on the big data framework was developed and uploaded to the joint online platform BIGDATA. They are intended for use in higher education institutions and correspond to competence systems at national, international and European levels.
The materials prepared cover a wide range of learning resources, including presentations, lecture notes, available cases, practical demonstrations for teachers, practical assignments for students, discussion questions, test questions, and lists of external sources. This approach made it possible to form a holistic training base that combines theoretical training with practical elaboration of key topics in the field of Big Data.
As a result, three sets of materials were created covering all aspects of big data in accordance with the methodology developed in the previous stages of the project. The first set is focused on students and contains recommendations for the organization of the educational process, practical elements and coordination guidance. The second set is for mentors and coaches.It details the content of the training, coordination responsibilities, tasks, key dates, as well as current and future target groups that should ensure the relevance and sustainability of the project results. In addition, these materials contain a detailed methodology, a list of necessary tools, media and resources for effective transfer of knowledge to students and mentoring during training.
A separate set of materials was prepared for business managers. It contains recommendations for identifying the right direction for students to work within the course on the example of real business challenges, innovative needs and practical tasks of companies. These materials outline the structure of the course, the process of interaction with students, the expected results, specific tasks and the level of involvement of managers at each stage.At the same time, they allow businesses to get innovative solutions ready for implementation for previously formulated problems.
All training materials were prepared on the basis of an interactive approach. This facilitates better assimilation of new concepts, facilitates understanding of complex topics, and provides comprehensive coverage of key aspects of the Big Data domain.
Preparations were also launched for the event, during which it is planned to present the full and completed Big Data training program to stakeholders related to the field of big data, in particular representatives of academic institutions, business and other organizations.
An important result of the project was the development of the Smart BigData Job Hub platform, designed to establish communication between business and the community of specialists in the field of big data. In addition, a detailed guide for students was prepared with recommendations on the educational process and the practical component, a guide for university teachers, researchers and experts, as well as a guide for company managers.
As part of the project, all materials of the IBIGWORLD online platform were translated into Ukrainian. An educational trajectory for training a framework in the field of big data for higher education institutions has also been created in accordance with the competence systems at the national, international and European levels.
In addition, a business guide based on the results of stage O4, a training scenario for the project, a manual for teachers within the framework of the iBIGworld Erasmus+ project and recommendations for practical Big Data training were developed, in particular, a student manual for the iBIGWORLD project.
