Student dormitories of KNU
Applicants of the NWT department who need housing for the duration of their studies have the right to settle in the student dormitories of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The allocation of places is carried out centrally by the department of the university campus. Dormitories where fit students live
Applicants of the Faculty of Information Technology usually settle in the dormitories of the KNU campus on VDNH and on Glushkov Avenue. The exact address and room number is assigned by the campus department after the application is submitted.
Package of documents for accommodation in a dormitory:
- Application for settlement;
- Copy of passport (ID card – on both sides; old passport – 1, 2, 11 pages)
- Reference 13 (only for ID card holders). (Not an Extract from the usr!) ;
- Copy of the identification code;
- Photo card 3x4 in the amount of 3 pcs.;
- Copies of documents certifying benefits (if any);
- File for storing paper copies of documents.
How to Apply
- Fill in the application form (form in the dean's office of fit)
- Submit documents confirming the need for housing (certificate of registration outside Kyiv)
- Wait for the decision of the settlement commission (usually within 2 weeks)
- Obtain a settlement warrant

Priority of settlement
First of all, the following places are provided:
- Applicants of preferential categories (orphans, persons with disabilities)
- Applicants from low-income families
- Freshmen living far from Kyiv
- Applicants with high academic performance
Rent payment
The amount of rent is set by the university and approved annually.
Benefit categories may be exempt from payment (in whole or in part, depending on the category).

RULES OF RESIDENCE
Accommodation in the dormitory is regulated by the Internal Regulations of Student Dormitories of KNU. Highlights:
- Silence from 23:00 to 7:00
- No smoking indoors
- Absence of unauthorized persons without a pass
- Room sanitation
