According to foreign authors, up to 87% battle deaths occur before the wounded reach the treatment facility.According to the Committee of Experts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the number of deaths among participants in combat operations significantly depends on information about the condition of the soldier at the prehospital stage of medical care, compliance with the «Golden Hour» principle regarding the preservation of the vital functions of the wounded in the red, yellow zones and at various stages of medical evacuation to a health care facility.It is proposed to develop models and methods for identifying and managing the process of providing medical care to ATO fighters.
A software and hardware complex will be developed that will increase the efficiency of providing prehospital and medical care to servicemen, employees and employees in case of injuries, contusions, injuries, diseases that perform combat (special) tasks in the area of the anti-terrorist operation using the telecommunication resource.
Nowadays, there are no effective methods for tracking the condition of fighters in combat positions and it is very difficult to carry out preparatory work in a field or stationary hospital. Because of this, the vast majority of deaths occur in the prehospital period. The project proposed by the authors is devoted to solving this problem.
The project is also developing for civilian needs.
Students and graduate students of the department take an active part in the project.
